Workfone

Client: Red Tulip Systems

Location: Copenhagen, Denmark

My Roles: UX Designer for the team in a dynamic statup environment. I creating wireframes based on user-centered design methodologies, participated in the discussion and design of user interfaces, created a demo working prototype of the product and conducted user testing.

Intended Users: Police officer security agents. These users are people whose jobs require them to meet with dangerous people, in remote, unfriendly places. The job description also require them to adopt multiple identities, and therefore, handle multiple phones. They willingly put themselves at risk to keep us (the rest of society) safe.

Product: Disposable digital Workfone for police officer security agents. The solution before workfone was multiple disposable phones. Agents needed to buy them, charge them, carry them around, and remember to throw them away after use without exposing or leaving trace of any information or data.

Workfone was the idea of two friends to put together one phone, one sim card, unlimited identities into a simple app; each "virtual phone" allowed users to have different roles, and different numbers.
